Whilst You Are Here

Whilst you are on Waiheke Island, why not stay for dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants or vineyards?

A trip to Rangihoua Olive Estate is recommended since their Extra Virgin Olive Oil is world class and simply amazing - perhaps followed by a lovely lunch at one of the island's many restaurants.

For more information, visit the official Waiheke Island visitor's website.

Getting Around

There are several car hire companies on the island. There's also a reasonable Waiheke bus service - check the tourism information for more information on buses.

You can hire bikes and there is a fantastic Waiheke Bike Track.

There are a large number of walking tracks to explore and don't miss the spectacular Whakanewha Regional Park (info1 and info 2)
